Dear Woodward Camp Counselors and Instructors:

This past summer my son and two of his friends attended your camp during the week of July 22nd. It was my son's first time at a sleep away camp. I can't thank you enough for the wonderful experience he had. He came home a more confident and self-reliant person He still talks about all the Pros and how great they were and fun to be with. His instructor for the Freestyle Bike Camp was terrific. My son told us how patient the counselors and instructors were with him and his buddies when they were learning something difficult. He made some great new friends and still emails and talks to them on the phone. He can't wait to come back next summer. Thanks for providing a safe and unforgettable experience for our son. You are all special people. Have a great winter and prepare yourselves-- he'll be back with a few more friends.

- Greatful Parent

To whom it may concern,

My son had nothing but superlatives to heap on about his experiences at Woodward. He is a 14 year-old beginning skateboarder who had a blast. I got the sense that he had just the right balance of freedom and supervision. This equilibrium is not easy to get right with teenage boys. I applaud you. When I asked if he had any addresses of his cabin mates he replied "we didn't exchange them because we all agreed that we'd be back next summer."His total commitment to returning to Woodward next summer is now the carrot I can dangle in front of him to stay on the honor roll for the academic year. Thank you for providing a great two weeks for my son. You run a remarkable program.

- Eve

Dear Woodward Camp,

I would like to thank you for running a top notch facility, a program that sets the standard by which all other camps will try and follow. My daughter had a great experience. She truly loves the sport of gymnastics and your camp is a gymnast's dream come true, the sport's best instructors at a world class training facility. The heated pool and canteen don't hurt either! I know she will return home with tons of new skills, improved confidence and priceless memories.

- A grateful parent.

Dear Woodward,

I am writing to thank you and Woodward Camp for inviting my children back for week 11. Conrad and Courtney returned home last night and showed us their congratulations letters from your TAP program. They are very happy that they were offered the opportunity to return this summer. They had an amazing week of training, taking full advantage of the open gym sessions everyday and meeting new friends who share their enthusiasm for gymnastics. They are particularly impressed by the coaches who not only helped them with skills but also shared their knowledge about the sport and physiology. Thank you and congratulations on another year of success at Woodward.

- Warm regards, Tammy

To Whom it May Concern:

I just wanted to write to you and let you know what a great time my son had! He was a first timer at the camp. He was in the BMX racing program week 12. He has not stopped talking about how awesome the camp was! When we dropped him off, my husband and I were so impressed with the camp. The grounds are spotless. The people are so very friendly and there is so much to do. My son's counselor Mike, was fantastic. I am so glad there is a camp out there for kids who enjoy extreme sports! With that said, Zach will be back next year for a two week stay! Thank you so much.

-Laura and Tim

Dear Woodward,

My name is Tammy and I am the mother of Cody. Cody just attended Woodward and I am writing this letter to extend my thanks to your facility and your staff. Woodward is an opportunity of a lifetime for any child. Cody eats, sleeps and dreams about skateboarding. We had a 5-hour ride home listening about his week there. We listened to nothing but good things and experiences with your camp and staff members. Upon arrival staff members were very helpful, pleasant and almost eager to see the new faces of another group preparing for their week stay. We stayed for quite some time and walked around the grounds, which were extremely beautiful. He had such a blast at Woodward. Additionally, please tell Cody's counselor thank you for me. He had such a wonderful impact on my son. One can never have too much positive influence on one's children.

- Thank you Woodward and Woodward Staff, Tammy

Dear Woodward Staff,

I just wanted to say thanks for all the hard work you guys put in. I attended your gymnastics program last year and I really enjoyed it. I had a lot of fun and learned skills that I desperately needed at the same time. You guys find a way of mixing fun and learning together. I competed in my first year of high school gymnastics and did great thanks to your coaching and help. I liked it so much that I will be attending again this year. I hope that I got even better. You all really encouraged me to keep going and I guess I could never thank you enough. Thank you for everything.

- Brooke

- Linda
